Pegasus Construction progress

Pegasus now has its first residents living on site with thirteen homes now occupied. In addition, around 30 houses are currently under construction with more in the planning stages. The show home village is now open for viewing daily and includes a number of very stylish contemporary fully furnished homes from Stonewood, Golden Homes, Mike Greer Homes, Dave Magill Homes and Artisan Homes.

779 sections are now pre sold which equates to around 92% of all the sections that have been put on the market so far. To date titles have been issued for 274 sections in stages 1, 2 & 3 with development work  completed on stage 4 and titling imminent. Footpaths and roading are almost complete in stage 5. Earthworks and infrastructure work is now well underway on stages 6, 7 and 11.

Expressions of interest have been invited for the construction of the Mapleham pro shop and 'Sprig Bar' and the tender for this contract is expected to be awarded in March with construction beginning in May 2009. Expressions of interest for the construction of the new commercial centre including general store, cafe and bar, garden centre, bakery and office space have also been invited and construction is expected to start in May 2009.

Excavation of the town's feature lake has now been completed and the lake edging is being installed. It is expected that this will be completed and the lake will be filled by mid 2009. Work on construction of the temperature-controlled swimming bay has now commenced.

The new Pegasus Sales & Information Centre is open daily from 9am - 5pm at 116 Pegasus Boulevard, Pegasus to provide further information to anyone wanting more information on Pegasus.

Mapleham Golf Course

The first nine holes of the Mapleham Golf Course have been completed and good grass growth means it is really starting to look like a golf course. The Mapleham lots are all fenced with trees planted and the feature lakes along the fairways are full of water. Titles for 60 lots in Mapleham Stages 1, 2 & 3 have been issued. Irrigation and drainage works will continue this winter in preparation for seeding and completing the remaining nine holes in spring. Work on the golf course maintenance shed has started.
