Who is Rangiora.com?

Rangiora.com is the only official Rangiora web site.

On March 22 07 it committed in writing to the Waimakariri District Council that it would ultimately donate its profits to local non profit organizations, and the Mayor's welcome to the website is acknowledgement of that commitment. In less than a year it has already started supporting the local Big Brother Big Sister organization which it now proudly supports in order to assist the youth of the district and ultimately Rangiora.com will extend this function to others as it develops further.

Rangiora.com also holds most of the other Rangiora domain names and Waimakariri names and looks forward to using these to further advance the economic development of the district. In less than a year it has also grown so much as to be able to now launch its two new “siblings” – Kaiapoi.net and NorthCanterbury.net so that it can now cover everything from the Waimakariri River to Hanmer and Cheviot.

But it is NOT just a commercial site. Take a look at it's FREE Coming Events listings, its FREE sports draws and also its clubs and social organisations and support groups. Please feel free to use these easy to use facilities as you please. It is YOUR very own site, and a social resource and point of social contact for us all. Please use it to the advantage of us all.
